Madigan the Terrier at our Vacaville Clinic
Terriers have fun and Terriers are fast,
Though on the run, their friendship will last.

At our Vacaville Vaccination Clinic we met Madigan who is a mixed Terrier with heritage from both England/Scotland and Ireland. She’s half Wire Fox Terrier (from England and Scotland) and half Irish Terrier (from . . you guessed it . . Ireland). The Terriers of the British Isles have many characteristics in common. They date to the 18th and 19th centuries, have similar personalities, have a common working history as vermin chasers and share blood lines with other terriers like the Kerry Blue, Soft-Haired Wheaten, Welsh, Lakeland and Scottish Terriers. The Terriers are often a long lived dog and make good interactive companions as long as they get exercise and plenty of interaction with their owners.
