Here at our Vallejo vaccination clinic, we see Boy, a Bullmastiff who happens to be the biggest dog of the day. The Bull Mastiff is another derivative of the ancient Molosser dogs. In the 18’th century, they were developed as guard dogs by crossing the Old English Bulldog and the English Mastiff. Bull Mastiffs are large and strong enough that they have also served as draft animals. They are protective of their family, rarely bark and, with the wrong training, can be stubborn. – Geoffrey Antipa
